Got myself invited to the private view of the Crucible 2010 Sculpture Exhibition currently showing at Gloucester Cathedral. Described as 'the sculpture exhibition of the decade', it features some stunning works of art from artists such as Sir Eduardo Paolozzi, Antony Gormley, Damien Hirst and my good friend, Steve Hurst.

Setting the artwork in and around the cathedral works fantastically well and makes excellent use of a building which is in itself a work of art. I'm not entirely sure how they got some of the sculptures in the Cathedral!

If you can, get yourself over to Gloucester and have a look. There's over 70 sculptures so make sure you've got plenty of time to explore the exhibition. It's open until 30 Oct 2010. Opening times vary depending on day of week, so check the Crucible website for opening hours.
